Resumen
This paper introduces a wireless monitoring system for shrimp farming, designed to integrate with automatic feeders using a LoRa network and internet connectivity. The core contribution is a custom communication protocol that enables reliable coordination of up to 14 LoRa nodes, incorporating synchronization, acknowledgments, retransmissions, and error detection via longitudinal redundancy check (LRC). Operating at 433 MHz, the system achieves 100% packet delivery under real-world conditions with high humidity and vegetation. Results confirm the robustness of the proposed protocol for smart aquaculture applications.
