N2 - We present the impact that the Lab-Volt modules have on the teaching of powers in alternating current circuits and the associated phenomena such as the power factor in the course of alternating current circuits. For this purpose, experimentation consisting of three stages was carried out with a group of students who were taking the course, to evaluate the contribution of the laboratory practice using the LabVolt modules in order to assess their level of impact on the learning of alternating current power and power factor. Initially, a pre-assessment of the students' knowledge was performed before they participated in the laboratory, then the students carried out the practical experience in the laboratory using the Lab-Volt modules. At the conclusion of the activity, another assessment was administered to measure the knowledge acquired after the laboratory experience. In order to statistically analyze the two sample scores obtained to validate the level of impact that the lab had on the students.
