Propuesta de distribución de planta en una empresa manufacturera para aumentar la productividad y seguridad

Abstract

In this thesis, the problems encountered in a plant distribution of a manufacturing company dedicated to the manufacture of springs is from the implementation of two new machines that affected the route of their productive lines, which are 6 production lines in total. The thesis has as purpose perform 2 new layouts that improve productivity in terms of route with the goal of selecting that proposal that presents higher productivity, profitability and expansions of areas of the departments with the System Layout Planning methodology (SLP). Afterwards, it will develop the focus on security through a risk and evacuation map of the chosen proposal. It is important to understand the principles, types, calculations for the determination of spaces referring to the distribution of plant and the processes that will be represented through a route diagram. Finally, the proposal 1 was chosen because it presents greater profitability (NPR of 78198.89 S/, IRR of 90% and cost-benefit of 3.15) and have an average productivity of 78779,263 (kg/h) considering all productive lines and the risk and evacuation map was elaborated to comply with the provisions of Law 29783 known as "Law on Safety and Health at Work".
