Weight mass reduction is the key of Race cars; thus this thesis is based on the weight efficiency and ergonomic design of the competition vehicle for the Shell ecoMarathon that will take place in 2021. In order to achieve the main objective of weight reduction and ergonomic design, parameters like Camber, Caster, King pin, and Ackermann geometry were analysed and proposed. Moreover, best teams steering system design has a total average weight of 3kg, while, the final steering design of this thesis is, roughly, 1kg. Furthermore, the maximum force to be applied is 32N that warranty less wear on the human muscles on a push-pull movement. Finally, a structural analysis was made with ANSYS obtaining a maximum equivalent stress of 180MPa at the maximum load of 235N equally to the force that an average person of 80kg can perform.
