Abstract

This work deals with the implementation of two feedback control systems using a wireless architecture. The variables to be controlled are the level and temperature of the water inside of a tank. The tank used in this paper is part of a multipurpose plant. A module of supervision and control is employed to implement the feedback control systems. Two PID (Proportional Integral Derivative) control algorithms are used to stabilize the level and temperature of the water in the tank with respect to step form reference signals. The developed work demonstrates via experimentation that the wireless control system is able to control the level and temperature of the water in the tank achieving the established design specifications.
