Abstract

Automation solutions oriented towards power electrical systems (PES) in a smart grid predominantly employ a single brand. This causes difficulties when integrating new equipment. Additionally, monitoring is often tedious, leading to data misinterpretation and delays in preventive actions. This project presents a smart grid through the connection of 3 power generation stations and a consumption station to an Orion LX centralizer and a supervisory computer. Siemens Power Meters and Lucas Nulle collector bars are used. The equipment communicates via the Modbus TCPIIP protocol, and Lab View is used for the development of the supervisory software.
