Charm mixing and CPV at BABAR experiment

Research output: Contribution to journalConference articlepeer-review

Abstract

Searches of D0-D0 mixing and CP violation in the charm sector are strongly motivated by the possibility of observing a signal from new physics leading to bigger effects than those expected in Standard Model. Recent experimental results have shown strong evidence of D 0-D0 mixing and many efforts are made within the BABAR collaboration to confirm and improve these results. We will discuss the main results in charm mixing and CP violation analyses with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric B-factory.
