Our integrated advisory innovation consists of three components: (i) app-based citizen science to track the conservation status of varietal diversity; (ii) direct e-commerce linking farmers and consumers; and (iii) multilevel decision support. The approach digitally connects a diverse network of stakeholders to conserve, monitor and value 12,000 years of crop evolution managed by farmers. Unique features include crowdsourcing, youth-engagement, direct market links, and dynamic dashboards.
