PhD and Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the State University of Campinas, UNICAMP (2014) in the area of solid mechanics and mechanical design. Mechatronics Engineer from the National University of Engineering, UNI (2006). She is currently Director of the Department of Electronic and Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Engineering and Technology – UTEC. She has experience as a university professor at undergraduate and graduate levels and in the development of research projects obtaining national and international funds in the area of modeling and control of mechanical and mechatronic systems, medical robotics, robust control of mechanical systems and mobile robotics. Some of her projects are in collaboration with foreign universities such as Purdue University (USA), MIT (USA), University of Campinas – UNICAMP (Brazil) and The University of Liverpool (UK).
