Food Engineer (2013) with a Master's in Food Engineering (2016) and a Ph.D. in Food Engineering Science (2022) from the University of São Paulo (USP/FZEA). His research has focused on the development of controlled release films with antimicrobial agents and the production of films based on natural polymers and extracts. A postdoctoral research was conducted at the Universidad de Ingeniería y Tecnología (UTEC - Lima/Peru), where smart packaging was developed. With experience in the areas of sustainable polymers, by-products, composite materials, and the physical-chemical, mechanical, and thermal characterization of materials. Currently, he is a Part-Time Professor in the Department of Bioengineering and an Associate Researcher at the Amazon Sustainability Research Institute (ASRI) at the Universidad de Ingeniería y Tecnología (UTEC - Lima/Peru).
