Winning researcher of the Repatriation Program for Peruvian researchers abroad of INNOVATE Peru, Ministry of Production that brought him to Peru in 2015. He was a Researcher associated with the SETI Institute of NASA ARC, Founder of the Scientific Society of Astrobiology of Peru, winner of the Pfizer Innovation Award for his research in breast cancer and awarded with the Honoris Causa Doctorate from the National University of San Agustín de Arequipa. He is currently Adjunct Staff at the Lerner Research Institute of Cleveland Clinic and Director of Bioengineering and the Bioengineering Research Center -BIO at the University of Engineering and Technology-UTEC.
