After graduating from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the National University of Engineering (UNI), JL Mantari received a master's degree and a doctorate in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the Technical University of Lisbon (UTL), Top 2 in the world in the specialty . JL Mantari's research topic during his PhD was the behavior of structures in classical and advanced composite materials in naval engineering. Subsequently, his work to aerospace engineering, medical engineering, mechanical engineering, materials engineering, civil engineering and applied mathematics. His main research topics are: product design, computer simulations, biomechanics, structural design and calculation in steel and composite materials and plastics, finite elements, discrete elements, intelligent structures, thermal stress, stability and safety of fishing vessels and boats, etc. . He is the author of more than 90 articles on these topics indexed in SCOPUS, which have been published in international journals with a high impact factor (Q1 in most cases). JL Mantari is a reviewer of more than 20 indexed journals, a Board member of recognized journals and a member of the Proinnovate Board of Directors. He was Vice Chancellor for Research at USIL, Director of Research and Development at UNI, IPEN and USIL. Engineer and Professor with international experience (Bahamas, USA, Italy, England, Spain and Portugal). Innovator of scalable products and CEO of D+Imac Lab SAC. He was a research professor at UNM (USA), UTEC, UNI and visiting professor at international universities. JL Mantari has the potential and ability to organize, along with leadership skills, to develop interpersonal relationships. Winner of the Peruvian Pride Award 2013, Elsevier 2017, ECI 2019, VRI 2021, Red IDI 2021.
