Electronic engineer from the Orizaba Technological Institute and Doctor in “Technology, diversification, quality and energy saving” from the University of Oviedo, with the Cum Laude mention. Member of the National System of Researchers of the National Council of Science and Technology of Mexico. Member of the CONACYT Registry of Accredited Evaluators (RCEA). She collaborates with researchers from the Universidad del Atlántico, in particular with the Energy Efficiency Research Group on solar energy research and development projects in the Guajira-Colombiana region. She coordinated the Renewable Energy Educational Program at the Universidad Tecnológica del Centro del Veracruz from 2013 to 2016. She joined the Department of Energy Engineering at the University of Engineering and Technology (UTEC) in Lima, Peru, as a full-time professor in 2016. Since 2022, she has been directing the Energy Engineering and Mechanical Engineering degree programs at the university.
