PhD in computer science obtained with public congratulations (summa cum laude), from the National University of San Agustín and Master in Software Engineering with Maximum distinction (summa cum laude) from the University of Tarapacá in Chile. Currently, he is a Research Professor at the University of Engineering and Technology (UTEC). He was General Director of Research at the La Salle University of Arequipa and research professor at the same university. He is also a professor of Computer Science at the National University of San Agustín. He was one of the scientists who developed the contact tracing algorithm via Bluetooth for the PCM with the aim of generating early warnings and preventing the spread of the coronavirus in Peru. Also, he has been a speaker in various places in Peru, Latin America and Europe. His research interests are focused on Geometry Deep Learning, Machine Learning and algorithms.
