Dr. Alberto Donayre is Professor in Bioengineering and Chemical Engineering Department at UTEC. He holds a PhD in Plant Genetics and Biotechnology, in the Graduate Program of CINVESTAV-Instituto Politécnico Nacional-IPN, Mexico (2009). He did postdoctoral work at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), from 2009-2011, and postdoctoral stays for 5 years at Colorado State University (CSU), Fort Collins, USA developing Synthetic Biology projects. He worked as Professor of Biotechnology Engineering at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Mexico, in 2014-2016. His research Areas include Synthetic Biology, Biotechnology and Gene Regulation (Functional Genomics)
